When man plants trees he plants an orchard and puts the trees in a nice, orderly and organized line and serves the purpose of producing oranges or apples for himself. When God plants trees it doesn’t look so orderly, but He doesn’t just generate fruit, He creates an entire vivacious ecosystem that teems with life of every kind. Who is wiser? Whose way is more prosperous?
There’s not one of us who weren’t at various points in our lives taught how to think, what to value, and what to judge and fear. That’s just the wisdom of the world we’ve been born into. This “wisdom” teaches us to fear by telling us that our resources are limited and fading away and that we must toil and labor to walk into blessing. The operating system we inherited at the fall teaches us that we must judge between good and evil / good and bad / right and wrong. It constantly assesses and evaluates and tells us “this is how it should be” and “this is how you must think and see things” and it strives to make us parrot the same message. For nearly all, if not all of us this becomes a stronghold in our consciousness and in our lives and choosing to remain within its walls; choosing to stay boxed into the realm of the intellect keeps us from enjoying and extending the vastness of what Christ has made available to us. But included in this vastness is the passage to a more excellent Way; a much more glorious realm—a realm of abundant Life. I want to try my best to facilitate help this translation.
The realm of God is a place that… man! …Human language just cannot convey it! The realm of God is the glory realm and there anything can happen… in actuality in the glory realm it’s already happened and is happening now. There’s no time, no lack and no limitation. Its oxygen is peace and there everything vibrates with the sound of abundance. Words like ‘REvival’, REnew’, and ‘REstore’ are silliness and can’t even exist there. Everything is ‘YES’ and was ‘AMEN’ forever ago. The Glory realm is the realm of Infinite, immeasurable Life.
It’s a realm that God has made available to us and we have access to live in it EACH and EVERY moment. We don’t leave the earth to go there. We translate into it through awareness of the Word of Truth and then extend it to the earth. It’s accessing this realm that makes the provision for creative miracles, instantaneous, immediate, complete healings, dematerialization, digital miracles, transrelocation, bilocation, material manifestation such as gold dust, gemstones, cash, and brand new shoes, supernatural language downloads, etc (This stuff FOR SURE comes to those without full understanding of this realm. Grace is radical). The glory realm is the supreme realm and it is what we want… all of us without exception. Abiding in this realm is the way to Lasting Life. The moment the revelation that this revelation entered my heart it became clear to me that understanding this realm is something I cannot go on without.
Truly, understanding of the glory realm is something that I’m only just beginning to grasp. I’ve always enjoyed revelation, truth, teachings, healing the sick, prophecy, and great coffee, but when church services would head into what they called “the realm of glory,” which is loud, rambunctious, and showy (God shows off) I would honestly just not get what all the razzmatazz was all about and pretty much check out. I would find myself wondering “is all this hoopla really necessary?” and found myself waiting for it to be done so we can get on with the teaching or with going out to build something.
Very recently I learned two things: 1) if I’m really concerned with building the Kingdom of God this atmosphere is the ULTIMATE via to make it happen, and 2) the only reason I am opposed to it is because this realm is hostile or at least very offensive to human intellect which I regard far too highly.
So, I asked God to help me understand this whole thing and here’s what I got:
God’s Voice is our Life source. His Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. What’s important to realize is that He speaks to us through the mind, but not the intellect. They are two very different things.
We have the Mind of Christ. It is a “right now” reality. The way Christ thinks is not evaluatory or measuring, it’s free, happy, and very present.
Now, we’ve also got this thing called the intellect. The intellect is something that God has gifted to us to now and again use to quickly make a calculation or assessment when the Mind of Christ leads us to, but the intellect is not something that we were ever to enter into because to enter into the intellect is to exit the Mind of Christ. To enter into the intellect is to ‘come under the power‘ of something of the created realm, much like we can do with food or substance or entertainment, etc. We’re to use these things for enjoyment and to take us forward, but never to come under their power. The same goes for the intellect.
In answer to my prayer the Lord so graciously showed me that if living in/from the glory realm and laying hold of immortality is something we desire then measurement must be put in its place and religion must be starved to death. When this is accomplished the Mind of Christ can roam free and this is what is needed to live in and navigate the realm of God.
Christ has given us access to immortality or ever-increasing Life. This gift is to encompass, pervade, and saturate each area of our lives without exception. In order for us to lay hold of this gloriously infinite gift we must be humble and choose to let go of the thinking which we inherited when Adam ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; the thinking which is linear, evaluatory, rigid, religious, binary, black and white / good and bad. If our desire is Life then we want to embrace, feed, nurture, celebrate and seek after the “thinking” of God in our lives. This thinking is kaleidoscopic, gyroscopic, dimensional, dynamic, colorful, child-like, and like the Wind.
“Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:3
The intellect is the lowest faculty of our consciousness and, as I’ve said, it is powerless to take us into the glory realm and useless in navigating it. Entering into this realm requires that we learn to shift the way that we think, or more accurately, it requires that we learn to stop thinking. Thinking has to do with dwelling on the past and worrying about the future. It is a posture of fear. The mind of Christ is void of all fear, is confident in the all-pervading, ever-present, and immeasurable goodness of God and very naturally produces love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
The intellect is unconscious of the abundance and unconditional nature of God’s love. Therefore is fearful and therefore it rejects mystery and the mysteriousness of God and tirelessly fights to measure, quantify and be in control. This position blocks the ability to live in the present moment. Ironically…this binds us to time. Love sets you free from time and every other law of limitation.
The Word is the message of God’s Love; His promise to always do good to you no matter what and this Word has the power to reconfigure and re-encode your soul and bring salvation to your life. The message of God’s goodness is called the foolishness of the Cross and therefore human beings and Christ-beings in process need something called ‘meekness’ to receive it. (James 1:21) Meekness is a heart-posture of humility and an attitude of submission. Our hope of salvation on every level is Grace. James puts it like this:
“God is opposed to the proud and haughty, but [CONTINUALLY] gives [the gift of] grace to the humble [who turn away from self-righteousness].” (James 4:6 AMP)
But I want to leave you with this: as we hold fast to the Head we grow with a growth that is from God. We are being taken from faith to faith and glory to glory. We needn’t stress about this thing. We can trust that the Author and Perfector of faith is overseeing our mind-renewal. He is faithful to lead us out of our dead works and everything that is holding us back.
